Job summary

Hourigan is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site activities across projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget. The role requires coordinating with the Project Manager, subs, and field crews while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a BS in construction management or related field, 5–7 years of experience, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 5–7 years of field experience, preferably in general contracting.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with construction management software.
• LEED knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field activities for small/medium projects.
• Ensure subcontractors meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Assist Project Manager with scheduling and startup/close-out.
• Organize and maintain project contract documents.
• Prepare daily reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Drive the project schedule to timely completion.
• Coordinate final budget with the Project Manager.
• Lead subcontractor pre-con meetings and coordination.
• Ensure Hourigan safety and quality control procedures.
• Support SHMS safety practices and training.
