Job summary

Hourigan Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities from start to finish. You will manage field operations for small to mid-size projects, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure subcontractors meet quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience, preferably in general contracting.
• Values collaboration with all team members.
• Leads a job-site team and communicates effectively.
• Procore and Bluebeam knowledge is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• LEED experience is a plus.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field activities for small to medium projects.
• Ensure subcontractors meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on start-up, scheduling, and close-out.
• Organize and maintain project contract documents regularly.
• Assist in project construction schedule preparation with subs.
• Manage schedule to timely completion.
• Coordinate final project budget with the PM.
• Lead pre-construction and coordination meetings with subs.
• Prepare daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and safety reports.
• Drive construction layout and resolve on-site issues with the PM.
• Enforce Hourigan quality control and safety procedures.
• Support SHMS safety initiatives and reporting.
