Job summary

Hourigan Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Healthcare Construction Project Manager to drive large, complex healthcare projects to on-time, on-budget completion while delivering an exceptional owner experience.

You will coordinate with the superintendent and project team, own all project finances, maintain contracts and schedules, supervise a team, uphold Hourigan’s safety standards, and manage subcontractor coordination and client relations across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience, with substantial general contractor work.
• Extensive knowledge of estimating, means and methods, accounting, and document administration.
• Strong understanding of different delivery systems; LEED exposure preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with scheduling software (Textura, CMiC, Bluebeam).
• Customer-centric mindset; ability to lead and empower teams.
• Inclination to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Own full project ownership for large healthcare builds.
• Coordinate activities with Superintendent and project team.
• Manage project finances and budgets; approve subcontracts.
• Prepare construction schedules with input from subs.
• Coordinate required budget revisions and change orders.
• Distribute monthly owner payment applications; manage logs and close-out.
• Oversee safety program and on-site quality control.
• Lead and mentor project team; foster Hourigan’s values.
• Manage multiple projects at various lifecycle stages.
