Job summary

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of healthcare capital improvement, renovation, expansion, and new construction projects as part of the owner's representative team in Denver.

The role collaborates with project managers, architects, engineers, and facilities teams, ensuring design and construction activities meet contracts, budgets, schedules, and patient safety requirements while guiding projects through commissioning and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant project management or construction management experience, preferably healthcare or complex facilities.
• Experience managing projects through design and construction phases.
• Strong knowledge of budgets, schedules, change management, contracts, and project controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout of healthcare capital projects.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, facilities teams, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor contracts, quality, and project objectives.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, costs, change orders, invoices, and pay applications.
• Track milestones, risks, action items, and escalate concerns.
• Maintain project documentation: minutes, progress reports, logs, and correspondence.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change requests, and contractor documentation.
• Assist with procurement, bid evaluations, contractor coordination, and contract administration.
• Support construction within active healthcare environments while minimizing patient impact.
• Coordinate commissioning, equipment installation/relocation, utility shutdowns, phased occupancy, and turnover.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
