Job summary

STV in Seattle seeks a Healthcare Project Manager to act as owner’s representative on capital projects from planning through closeout. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, quality, and risk while coordinating with clinical leaders in active healthcare environments.

The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control, and continuity of care, with experience delivering complex healthcare facilities and a track record of delivering projects valued at tens of millions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or related field.
• 7+ years of project/construction management experience, healthcare sector preferred.
• Experience as owner’s representative or PM in complex institutional projects.
• Healthcare projects experience, $10M+ preferred.
• Experience in occupied healthcare environments and regulatory awareness.
• Strong budgets, schedules, contracts, change management, and risk control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as owner’s representative for healthcare capital projects (renovation, expansion, new construction).
• Manage projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, activation, turnover and closeout.
• Lead architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clinical stakeholders.
• Control budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, and project controls.
• Monitor milestones and risks; resolve cost, schedule, quality, or operations issues.
• Ensure design/construction aligns with contract, quality, and regulations.
• Coordinate construction in occupied facilities with minimal patient impact.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide reporting on schedule, budget, risks, decisions.
• Support procurement, contractor selection, bid evaluation and contract administration.
• Coordinate shutdowns, relocations, commissioning, phased occupancy.
• Adhere to healthcare safety protocols (ICRA, ILSM) and turnover standards.
• Mentor junior team members and promote PM best practices.
