Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Construction Manager to support Electronic Health Record Management Infrastructure Upgrades for Kerrville VA Medical Center. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor schedules, costs, quality, and safety.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related field with at least 3 years of construction management experience; healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Candidates without a college degree may substitute with 10 years of relevant construction management experience.
• Experience on healthcare or VA hospital projects is preferred.
• Strong skills in coordinating, scheduling, cost tracking, quality assurance, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, project progress, and critical activities to identify and address potential delays.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning, construction phasing, stakeholder meetings, and site mobilization.
• Review construction plans, RFIs, and proposed methods for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, and contract changes.
• Facilitate progress meetings, prepare reports, maintain logs, and track outstanding issues.
• Monitor construction quality, inspections, testing, commissioning, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, government representatives, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-built records, warranties, and required documentation.
