Planate Management Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned firm, seeks a Construction Manager to support EHRM infrastructure upgrades at Kerrville VAMC. You will oversee construction activities, manage schedules, costs, quality and safety, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to meet contract requirements.

The role is contingent on contract award with a duration of 2 years, offering a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related four-year curriculum.
• At least 3 years of relevant construction management experience; substitutions allowed with 10 years of experience.
• Healthcare or hospital project experience, preferably VA facilities, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, project progress and critical activities to identify delays.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning, phasing, stakeholder meetings, and site mobilization.
• Review plans, submittals, RFIs, and proposed methods for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, and contract changes.
• Facilitate progress meetings, prepare reports, maintain logs, and track issues.
• Ensure safety, quality inspections, testing, commissioning, and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and government representatives.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists and as-built records.
