Planate Management Group is seeking a Construction Manager to support Electronic Health Record Management (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades at Kerrville VA Medical Center. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor schedules, costs, quality, and safety to ensure contract requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related field with 3+ years of CM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related four-year curriculum with 3+ years of relevant construction management experience.
• Without a college degree, 10 years of relevant construction management experience acceptable.
• Healthcare or hospital project experience, preferably VA facilities, is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction practices and installation methods within area of expertise.
• Strong skills in coordination, schedule monitoring, cost tracking, quality assurance, and documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, progress and identify delays.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning, phasing, stakeholder meetings and site mobilization.
• Review plans, RFIs, and proposed methods for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, cost estimates, expenditures and changes.
• Facilitate progress meetings, prepare reports, maintain daily logs and track issues.
• Monitor construction quality, inspections, testing, commissioning and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, government reps and stakeholders.
• Support project closeout including punch lists, as-builts, warranties and documentation.
