Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a Construction Manager to support EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at Kerrville VAMC. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor schedules, costs, quality, and safety on-site.

Contingent on contract award, the role spans 2 years with healthcare project experience preferred. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with plans, RFIs, and procurement, while facilitating meetings and closeout activities to deliver on time and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant construction management experience.
• 10 years of relevant construction management experience may substitute for the degree.
• Healthcare or VA hospital project experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction practices, materials, and installation methods.
• Strong skills in project coordination, schedule monitoring, cost tracking, quality assurance, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction schedules, milestones, and progress to identify delays.
• Coordinate pre-construction planning, phasing, stakeholder meetings, and site mobilization.
• Review plans, RFIs, submittals for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, cost estimates, expenditures, and contract changes.
• Facilitate progress meetings, prepare reports, and maintain logs.
• Ensure construction quality and safety inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and government representatives to resolve issues.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, warranties, and documentation.
