Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business admin, or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum three years in health care marketing management, hospice preferred.
• Ability to market aggressively and work tactfully with customers and community.
• Knowledge of corporate business management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to laws and regulations regarding anti-kickback, marketing activities, patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
• Ensures maximum third-party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts with payers.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with referral and payer sources.
• Builds and monitors perceptions of the organization as a high-quality provider of services.
• Assist in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services.
• Maintains knowledge of agency markets, payer groups, referral sources, and competitors’ market positioning.
• Maintains knowledge in marketing and shares information with organization personnel.
• Maintains knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing resources if services are not provided.
• Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
