Job summary

MultiCare Health System is hiring a Supervisor of Coding to oversee coding and billing operations for both employed staff and vendor teams. The role ensures compliance with policies and regulations, while driving accuracy and timely processing of charges and denials.

The position requires leadership experience, RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/CCS-P credentials, and a minimum of three years in hospital coding. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years of experience may be considered.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required.
• Minimum three years of coding experience in a team environment within a highly computerized hospital setting.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for employed and vendor-supported resources.
• Monitor documentation integrity trends and provide provider education and feedback.
• Collaborate with PB-CDI and stakeholders to address documentation concerns and improve coding accuracy.
• Support reporting, trend analysis, and action planning for compliance and reimbursement integrity.
