SIMEDHealth in Gainesville, FL seeks an experienced Office Manager for Primary Care and Urgent Care to lead a large clinic team. The role supervises front-office and back-office Coordinators and covers roughly 40 staff across several sites with routine travel to High Springs and Lake City offices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in medical office management, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of EHR, scheduling, billing, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large clinic team and supervising coordinators.
• 5+ years in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical office workflows, EHR, billing, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel regularly to multiple SIMEDHealth offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Primary Care and Urgent Care clinics.
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop front-office and back-office Coordinators.
• Support about 40 clinical and administrative staff across sites.
• Establish clear responsibilities and accountability while staying hands-on in operations.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure clinic coverage and flow.
• Oversee patient flow, appointment availability, capacity, and utilization.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop clinic employees; monitor performance.
