UC San Diego Health is hiring a Call Center Specialist - Per Diem to deliver high-quality customer service, assist with patient registration, schedule appointments, and verify insurance eligibility.

The role supports the FACULTY PRACTICE CARE NAV HUB, requires EPIC system proficiency, and offers the flexibility of a 20% appointment percentage with 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, at Lightwave Avenue in San Diego.

Formación

• Three (3) years of call center/front desk experience in a large healthcare setting.
• Experience updating registration and insurance verification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple systems.

Responsabilidades

• Handle multi-line incoming calls, provide patient registration and scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Enter patient demographics accurately and relay messages to clinic staff.
