Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Call Center Associate to manage incoming calls, take messages, and relay information to appropriate departments. The role includes operating the overhead paging system and pagers and maintaining call logs for accurate records.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and experience in a high-volume healthcare call center. You will work with electronic medical records to coordinate appointments and support patient care on a scheduled

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum three months of related experience in a health care environment or training in high-volume call center operations.

Responsibilities

Initiates pages and emergency codes.
Handles all incoming calls on the switchboard and answering service.
Calls are processed within departmental guidelines.
Uses Call Center software, hardware and other hospital resources.
Completes Release of Information Requests After Hours.
Enters and updates data in the On Call schedule accurately to promote quality patient care.
Accesses the Electronic Medical Record to communicate patient appointments.
Acts as the Resource Person on specified shift.
Performs Daily Duties as assigned.
