Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Branch Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients in person and by phone. You will process orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and assist the branch team with documentation and billing to support patient care.

You will interact with referrals, patients, and sales and perform routine data entry, payment processing, and outbound satisfaction calls. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls on a multi-line system and provide information to patients; troubleshoot and escalate when needed.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorizations.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines for referrals and patients.
• Review patient accounts and assist with billing to maximize benefits.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to lock box.
• Perform outbound patient satisfaction calls.
• May download device data and perform tests on respiratory equipment.
• Other duties as required.
