Job summary

Apploi in Austin, TX seeks a Business Office Manager to supervise all business office functions under the Administrator, ensuring accurate financial systems and compliance with regulations. The role covers accounts receivable and payable, resident trust funds, and Medicare/Medicaid activities, with oversight of staff and reporting.

You will coordinate with the Nursing Department on Part A determinations and ensure timely month-end procedures, deposits, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Must have Medicare/Medicaid billing experience in long-term care or skilled rehabilitation.
• At least three years of accounts receivable management experience in health care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident trust funds.
• Ensure financial systems are accurate, efficient, and compliant with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate Medicare Part A determinations and ensure Part A/B appeals as needed.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and deposit processes.
• Balance SUM journals to billing reports by the 10th of each month and manage daily deposits.
• Supervise business office staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
