Job summary

Heath Austin Manager LLC is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee the facility’s financial operations, ensuring accurate billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and tax processes in a regulated health care environment.

The role requires alignment with GAAP, state and federal laws, and CMS initiatives, with regular financial reporting to senior leadership and the Board of Managers. Strong supervisory and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a billing or supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the overall financial operation of the facility in line with GAAP and regulations.
• Reports financial performance monthly to Administrator and Board of Managers/Directors.
• Monitors key performance indicators and communicates results to leadership for action as needed.
• Develops and implements billing, collections, A/P, payroll, tax, and general ledger processes using standard accounting practices.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, including bed-hold notices and CMS program initiatives affecting fiscal health.
• Produces monthly income statements and prepares reports for government agencies as required.
