Job summary

Accenture in Arlington, VA is seeking an AI Native Engineer to embed with provider and payer teams, redesigning processes around AI and co-creating solutions that address clinical and administrative workflows. You will define problems, architecture, and trust; navigate HIPAA/compliance; and help move ideas to working solutions in production with cloud-native systems and AI platforms.

Travel may be required; strong coding, data, and interoperability expertise are essential to deliver scalable AI

Qualifications

3+ years engineering with cloud-native systems, APIs, microservices and serverless.
3+ years coding in Python or Java, ability to learn others.
3+ years production deployment experience, CI/CD and IaC ownership.
1+ year delivering AI programs inside payer organizations.
1+ year using Claude or frontier AI tools in work.

Responsibilities

Embed with provider teams, working inside health systems to co-create AI solutions.
Scope programs by defining problems, outcomes, and success metrics.
Lead technical architecture of AI programs for provider environments.
Design for trust with HIPAA-compliant, safe, clinically sound solutions.
Reimagine workflows for clinical and operational teams beyond automation.
Shape healthcare interoperability and data exchange strategies.
