Job summary

Accenture is seeking a leading senior engineer to drive AI initiatives inside health plans, PBMs, and payer operations. You will manage forward-deployed pods, define outcomes, and architect AI programs spanning core administrative and clinical platforms.

You will guide teams, ensure safe and compliant AI deployments, and collaborate with CIO/CFO and health-plan leaders to deliver value, ROI, and multi-year adoption roadmaps in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

8+ years hands-on engineering with cloud-native systems and AI platforms
Hands-on coding in Python or Java with production deployment experience
Experience delivering AI programs inside payer organizations
Experience with Claude or frontier AI tools in production
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Lead forward-deployed pods and AI programs end-to-end inside health plans
Define program scope, outcomes, and AI automation opportunities
Architect and govern AI programs across payer environments
Build trust by ensuring safety, compliance, and PHI safeguards
Shape interoperability and multi-system integration for claims and clinical data
Develop delivery standards and coach engineers in your pod
Collaborate with client executives to shape AI reinvention strategy
Create reusable methods and accelerators for payer engagements
