Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Native Engineer to lead AI programs in health systems and payer organizations, embedding with provider teams to redesign processes and co-create AI-enabled solutions. You will define problems, architect AI programs, ensure trust and compliance, and advance interoperability within healthcare ecosystems.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native systems, AI platforms, and payer workflows, with travel as needed to client sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on engineering with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless) and AI platforms
• 3+ years coding in Python/Java; ability to learn others quickly
• 3+ years production deployment experience - CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, debugging
• 1+ year delivering AI programs inside payer organizations
• 1+ year hands-on experience with Claude or frontier AI tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/CE or related field

Responsibilities

• Embed with provider teams and work inside health systems and clinics to co-create AI solutions
• Scope the program by defining problems, outcomes, and success criteria
• Set the technical architecture for AI programs in provider environments
• Design for trust with safety, compliance, and PHI safeguards
• Reimagine the future of work for clinical and operational teams
• Shape interoperability to connect health records across ecosystems
• Turn engagements into reusable approaches and accelerators
