Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking an Admissions Assistant to support our Admissions and Marketing team. The role focuses on coordinating referrals, preparing admission paperwork, and communicating with families to ensure a smooth transition into rehabilitation care.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computers and EMR systems. This full-time position offers engagement with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams in a busy healthcare

Formación

• Prior healthcare admissions or office experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with incoming referrals and potential admissions.
• Gather and organize clinical, demographic, and admission documentation.
• Communicate with hospitals, case managers, referral sources, patients, and families.
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization follow-up as assigned.
• Prepare admission packets and required paperwork.
• Coordinate admission information with nursing, therapy, and other departments.
• Track referrals, admission status, and required follow-up.
• Assist with facility tours, inquiries, and prospective patient visits.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential patient information.
• Support the Admissions and Marketing team with administrative and coordination duties.
• Help ensure patients and families receive a welcoming, organized admission experience.
