Beacon Health System is seeking a Coordinator Access Services to assist the Supervisor and Manager with daily operations and coverage of department activities. The role handles multiple call systems, monitors volumes and wait times, and documents call center data requests for internal and external callers with escalated needs.

Focused on maintaining professional patient interactions, this position supports training, reporting, and distribution of materials while ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical office settings and familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, insurance eligibility and referrals preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the overall operational function of the assigned facility and supports call center data monitoring.
• Answers phone calls, greets customers, and maintains professional patient interactions.
• Resolves complex patient needs and assists in training and reporting tasks.
• Maintains equipment inventory, coordinates repairs, and supports scheduling coverage.
• Adheres to policies, regulatory requirements, and completes mandatory education.
