Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HUC post-secondary program or Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year working experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and EPIC experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the health care team.
• Monitors and orders supplies, answers patient call lights, and elevates patient needs to nursing staff.
• Assists the care team with managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and facility staff; supports continuous improvement activities.
