Job summary

The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle is seeking a Program Manager for Health Through Housing at our Federal Way Permanent Supportive Housing site. You will oversee staff and operations, coordinate with partners, address tenant concerns, and support program delivery to residents.

You will manage day-to-day administration, process accounts payable, and contribute to a collaborative management team. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to work with people who may have issues related to substance addiction, physical and mental health problems, and who may be in need of social living skills.
• Prior people and program management experience.
• 2+ years non-profit experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using HMIS.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work effectively with the public.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions based upon the analysis of individual unique factors.
• Demonstrated interest in working with persons experiencing poverty.
• Ability to guide and motivate others toward achieving goals.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities.
• Ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
• Strong relationship management skills including building trust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee staff and operations at the Health Through Housing site.
• Resolve tenant concerns and complaints.
• Communicate regularly with outreach, leadership and stakeholders on program status.
• Work with the Multi-Site Community Manager and Public Health Equity Program Manager to align planning and delivery.
• Promote a positive sense of community among residents through on-site activities and services.
• Handle day-to-day administration and accounts payable for the program.
• Participate as a member of the management team.
