Job summary

The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle is seeking a qualified Program Manager for Health Through Housing at our Federal Way Domestic Supportive Housing site. This role oversees staff, day-to-day operations, and tenant services to promote a supportive community.

Responsibilities include resolving tenant concerns, liaising with leadership and stakeholders, and managing administrative tasks, budgets, and program delivery in collaboration with the Mult-Site Community Manager and Public Health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to work with people who may have issues related to substance addiction, physical and mental health problems.
• Prior people and program management experience.
• 2+ years non-profit experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using HMIS.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work effectively with the public.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions based upon the analysis of individual unique factors.
• Demonstrated interest in working with persons experiencing poverty.
• Ability to guide and motivate others toward achieving goals.
• Ability to work in various settings with culturally diverse families and communities.
• Ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
• Strong relationship management skills including building trust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee staff and operations at the Health through Housing Permanent Supportive Housing facility.
• Resolve tenant concerns and complaints and communicate with outreach, leadership and stakeholders on program status.
• Align operational planning, efficiency, and program delivery with the Mult-Site Community Manager and Public Health Equity Program Manager.
• Promote a positive sense of community among residents by organizing on-site activities and services.
• Handle day-to-day administrative operations, processing accounts payable for the program, and participate in the management team.
