Job summary

HealthPartners Plastic Surgery is seeking a Business Systems Supervisor to lead frontline and surgery scheduling staff, partnering with clinic leadership to optimize patient experience and operational performance.

The role oversees revenue cycle processes, scheduling, and health information management, coordinating with Epic and other stakeholders to improve workflows while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field or six years of equivalent experience.
• Two years of healthcare operations, customer service, or related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage staff, resources, and operational budgets.
• Experience using data and performance metrics to improve patient experience, access, and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline and surgery scheduling staff, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
• Oversee revenue cycle activities, scheduling, registration, referrals, authorizations, health information management, and telephone operations.
• Collaborate with Epic, Revenue Services, Coding, Compliance, Patient Accounting, and other stakeholders to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Support business continuity, system performance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Travel between clinic and administrative locations as needed.
