Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior leader to manage performance, quality, compliance and financial targets for a West Midlands health contracts portfolio. The role will drive strategy, foster strong stakeholder partnerships, and oversee governance, training and team development to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health or related field.
• At least 3 years in health or social care post.
• Proven management, leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with diverse stakeholders and relationship-building.
• Experience delivering programmes per SLAs and contract requirements.
• Financial management experience and ability to scrutinise budgets.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and mitigating challenges.
• Experience recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to write reports, procedures and communications.
• Experience delivering service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across health contracts in West Midlands.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Develop and embed thresholds, pathways and procedures; ensure quality standards and governance.
• Recruit, train and develop teams; support PDPs and annual appraisals; promote wellbeing and value-led culture.
• Oversee clinical governance and audits; support research to extend the portfolio.
