Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Senior Manager to lead health contracts in the West Midlands. You will drive performance, quality, compliance and financial targets, while building strong links with commissioners, local authorities and partners. The role requires robust governance, staff development and reporting to senior leadership.

You will recruit and mentor multidisciplinary teams, embed policies, and monitor SLAs, ensuring service improvements and risk mitigation are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health & Social Policy, Social Sciences, or Community Development.
• At least 3 years in health or social care post.
• Proven management and mentoring experience in a similar role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience delivering programmes to meet contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Financial management experience with ability to scrutinise budgets and inform P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver performance, quality, compliance and financial targets for health contracts.
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Embed quality, processes and procedures; test and promote service standards.
• Recruit, develop and supervise multi-disciplinary teams and ensure staff development.
