Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced leader to manage a portfolio of health contracts in the West Midlands, delivering performance, quality, compliance and financial targets. You will build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and partners, ensuring robust governance, risk management and service improvements across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years in health or social care post.
• Demonstrable management, leadership and mentoring within a similar role.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Evidence of delivering programmes per contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Experience in financial management and budget scrutiny for P&L.
• Familiar with risk analysis and mitigation.
• Recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient in writing reports, procedures and policies for broad audiences.
• Devising, implementing and analysing performance measures for services.
• Experience delivering service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and deliver performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across health contracts.
• Create links and pathways with local services, community organisations and agencies.
• Develop thresholds, referral criteria and policies, ensuring usability and dissemination.
• Recruit and develop teams, oversee PDPs, appraisals and staff wellbeing.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits and evidence building.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders and commissioners to grow contracts.
• Provide regular performance reports to commissioners and senior leadership.
• Conduct regular meetings with commissioners, LAs, and partner organisations.
