Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking a Health Care Pathway Specialist to manage the Health Sciences student pathway from interest through admission into limited enrollment programs. You will coordinate pathway transitions, monitor progress, and provide outreach to promote persistence and successful progression.

This full-time role reports to the Dean of the School of Health Sciences and involves collaboration across programs to enrich the student experience, deliver information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education, enrollment management, student success, workforce development, or related field.
• Knowledge of healthcare professions and educational pathways.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience coordinating events, presentations, and student engagement initiatives.
• Ability to learn institutional systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Health Sciences pathway for students pursuing admission into limited enrollment programs.
• Monitor student progress and review academic performance reports to identify students who may benefit from additional support and outreach.
• Conduct proactive outreach through phone calls, email, text messaging, and other communication methods to promote student persistence and engagement.
• Monitor and update Academic Completion Plans to support timely progression toward program admission and graduation.
• Coordinate student pathway transitions following limited enrollment admission decisions.
• Coordinate mandatory pathway meetings for students not admitted and assist them in exploring alternative Health Sciences career pathways.
• Deliver presentations on Health Sciences programs, admission processes, and career opportunities.
• Coordinate Health Sciences Program Information Sessions, Healthcare Career Fairs, and recruitment events.
