Job summary

Broward College seeks a Health Science Pathway Retention Specialist to support Health Foundation of South Florida grant activities. The role involves direct service to Health Science Pathway students, case management, and facilitation of workshops to boost retention.

Work is under limited supervision within the Nursing Administration department, with potential annual renewal based on program sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Eight years of relevant experience.
• Ability to review academic progression and connect students to resources.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for workshops and retention activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to promote retention and academic success for Health Science Pathway students.
• Review academic progression and connect students with resources and sources.
• Coordinate delivery of student success workshops and promote participation.
• Facilitate engagement in academic and career planning activities and college policies.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
