Job summary

Broward College is seeking a Manager, Student Services at the South Campus to lead wrap-around student support initiatives and collaborate with faculty, staff, and community agencies. The role emphasizes reducing barriers such as housing/security insecurities and mental health challenges while guiding students toward academic success.

The position oversees outreach services, coordinates referrals and early interventions, and runs workshops to support at-risk students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees new programs to reduce attrition of degree-seeking students.
• Analyzes student success issues with faculty and administrators to design programs.
• Maintains a case-load of at-risk students and connects them to resources.
• Manages Seahawk Outreach Services and handles early warning alerts.
• Organizes Student Success Workshops and related activities.
• Works daily with Financial Aid, Student Life, Admissions, Career Center, Advisement.
• Assists in training staff and supervises the Student Success Advocate.
