Job summary

USA Health is seeking a leader in Performance Improvement and Health Equity to advance quality, safety, and inclusive care across the Gulf Coast region. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leadership to translate data into improvement initiatives.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in health informatics, engineering, nursing, or a related field, with strong project management and PI experience; healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in health informatics, engineering, nursing, or related field.
• Project management experience required.
• Performance Improvement and safety experience preferred.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies in an ethical manner.
• Maintains accurate, complete & confidential information for the hospital Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program.
• Flexible scheduling to include overtime as needed to complete time sensitive interviews and debriefs.
• Ensures on-time completion of deliverables with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Applies PI methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Model for Improvement) to lead teams in data collection and analysis.
• Provides subject matter expertise in health equity and patient/family engagement.
• Develops and oversees DEI strategy and related initiatives aligning with the organizational plan.
• Drives organizational change by improving processes, care delivery, and documentation.
• Coordinates with medical staff and departments for case reviews to identify issues and validate data for reporting.
