Job summary

CORMAC is seeking a Business Development & Capture Associate to drive growth in federal and state Health IT opportunities, support capture and proposal efforts, and build customer relationships. You will work with senior leadership, delivery teams, and partners to develop strategies, plans, and win themes across multiple pursuits.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience, initiative, and cross-team collaboration, with growth toward capture leadership over time.

Qualifications

• Three to eight years of federal business development, capture management, proposal management, program management, or related discipline.
• At least three years of experience supporting federal government procurements and proposal efforts.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting opportunity qualification, capture planning, customer engagement, and proposal development activities.
• Experience developing relationships with customers, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Experience supporting federal civilian agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned pursuits and capture activities to contribute to growth objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and track federal and state Health IT opportunities aligned with CORMAC capabilities.
• Maintain accurate opportunity information within the pipeline and CRM tools.
• Lead capture activities for small-to-medium opportunities and support senior leaders on larger pursuits.
• Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive assessments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate on capture plans, win strategies, and customer engagement plans with leadership and teams.
• Coordinate teaming partner identification, outreach, and inputs to teaming agreements.
• Assist in developing white papers, capability briefings, and solution presentations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
• Prepare opportunity summaries, competitive assessments, and bid/no-bid materials.
• Support responses to RFIs and pre-solicitation activities.
• Participate in proposal development including content planning, pricing support, and color-team reviews.
• Assist with oral presentations planning and customer demonstrations.
• Monitor procurement forecasts and solicitation activity.
• Provide updates on capture status and risk to management.
• Support win/loss reviews and continuous improvement of BD/capture processes.
• Collaborate with program managers to identify organic growth on existing contracts.
• Represent CORMAC at industry events and customer engagements.
