Job summary

MetroPlusHealth in New York seeks an Enrollment Educator to guide individuals through the NY State of Health Marketplace, Medicaid, and Child Health Plus. You will educate, assist with applications, and gather required documents to support enrollment and recertification.

You will present programs clearly, manage sensitive PHI with care, and work flexible hours including some evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of Sales experience.
• Public Speaking experience.
• Must complete NY State of Health approved training and become certified (MFE).

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist qualified individuals with applying for coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace in a QHP and programs such as Medicaid and Child Health Plus.
• Assist consumers with calling NY State of Health Customer Services for enrollment and document verification.
• Conduct public education activities to raise awareness of available QHPs within the Marketplace.
• Explain eligibility for public programs and how premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions work.
• Describe features/benefits of coverage and cost-sharing mechanisms.
