Job summary

MetroPlus Health, a subsidiary of NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks a Marketing and Enrollment specialist to educate eligible residents about plan benefits and drive enrollment.

Under supervision, you will present information in community centers, perform telemarketing activities, and maintain records; previous sales or social services experience is valued; bilingual abilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent required; three months of training may be provided.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• At least one year of experience in direct consumer contact, sales and/or social services.
• Knowledge of a second language may be required.

Responsibilities

• Educate eligible participants on MetroPlus plan benefits and enrollment options.
• Conduct group and individual presentations in community settings.
• Perform outreach at income support centers, provider sites, churches, and shelters.
• Maintain enrollment documentation and participate in sales/marketing meetings.
