Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist qualified individuals with applying for coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP).
• Assist consumers with enrolling and providing verification documentation.
• Conduct public education activities to raise awareness of available QHPs within the Marketplace.
• Explain eligibility for public programs and how premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions work.
• Describe features and benefits of health insurance including deductibles, copays, and co-insurance.
