Job summary

The role focuses on identifying prospective members, guiding them through enrollment, recertification, and understanding benefits, including the ACA rules. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Sales experience.
• Prior Public Speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist qualified individuals with applying for coverage through NY State of Health Marketplace.
• Assist consumers with enrollment and verification documentation.
• Conduct public education activities to raise awareness of QHPs within the Marketplace.
• Explain eligibility for public programs and how premium credits work.
• Assist existing members with recertification and education of benefits.
• Maintain accurate enrollment data in MetroPlusHealth portal.
