Job summary

The Health Information Management team at iHealth’s Two Twelve Surgery Center in Chaska is a full-time position from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will coordinate medical records, physician documentation, and peer review processes while ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

You will work with physicians and care teams to meet documentation deadlines, manage requests and invoices, and prepare essential reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 2+ years experience in HIM, medical staff services, or healthcare compliance.
• Experience with peer review processes preferred; strong physician collaboration.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, state and federal medical records requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate tracking files for receipt of dictation and signatures.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to ensure timely documentation completion.
• Meet annual departmental goals including chart audits and compliance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal medical records requirements.
• Process medical record requests, invoices, and track payments.
• Coordinate and manage physician peer review process, including assignment, tracking, and follow-up.
• Prepare and present reports to Medical Executive Committee and Governing Board.
• Support regulatory, accreditation, and audit readiness activities.
• Assist in aligning processes with accreditation and compliance standards.
