Job summary

OMES is seeking the Health Exchange Technology Director to lead technology strategy for the Oklahoma Health Insurance Exchange and oversee IT initiatives across the organization.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science and at least ten years of leadership in healthcare technology, with strong experience in systems integration, security, and vendor management. Salary is determined by education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of ten years of leadership experience within healthcare technology.
• Experience with state/federal health insurance exchanges and CMS integrations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology initiatives for the Oklahoma Health Insurance Exchange.
• Manage software development lifecycle, project, change, and communication initiatives.
• Ensure information systems meet external rules, regulations, and security requirements.
• Maintain standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions across the Exchange.
• Oversee vendor relationships to manage cost, schedule, and performance.
• Collaborate with OMES IT Security/Compliance and state/federal partners on security and risk management.
