Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC (PPMW) seeks a Health Training Manager to lead and expand professional training programs for youth and adults in the DC metropolitan region.

The role designs medically accurate, age-appropriate curricula, recruits and supports education volunteers, partners with the Director of Education, and ensures programs meet grant requirements while promoting PPMW's health center services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or six years of relevant health education experience.
• Three years of experience in training design, curricula development and facilitation.
• Experience delivering culturally competent, age-appropriate programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage external professional training for diverse audiences.
• Refine policies and curricula with best practices in professional development.
• Develop and operate Trusted Adult programming across Washington, DC region.
• Create and manage Peer Health Educator curriculum and program.
• Establish partnerships with grantors, local organizations, and agencies.
• Coordinate requests with Education leadership and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee birth control educator kit program: fulfillment and inventory.
• As needed, conduct education with internal stakeholders.
• As needed, implement health education programs that are accurate and culturally competent.
• Stay updated on best practices for healthy sexual behavior and training techniques.
• Track participants monthly and report program metrics and budgets.
