Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead performance, quality, and governance across a portfolio of health contracts. You will build partnerships with commissioners, local authorities and subcontractors, ensuring contracts meet KPIs and quality standards.

You'll oversee teams, risk management and reporting, driving continuous improvement and service growth. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and financial acumen within a complex health landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health & Social Policy, Social Sciences, or Community Development.
• At least 3 years in health or social care post.
• Demonstrated management and mentoring within a similar role.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders and building relationships.
• Evidence of delivering programmes per contractual SLAs and service standards.
• Experience with financial management and P&L insights.
• Familiar with risk analysis and mitigation in a service setting.
• Recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience writing reports, procedures and policies.
• Experience delivering service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and deliver performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across a portfolio of health contracts.
• Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Embed quality processes, policies, procedures and governance across the service.
• Recruit, develop and support teams, ensuring competency and staff wellbeing.
• Oversee clinical governance and audit activities and contribute to evidence.
• Engage with commissioners and partners to review performance and support growth.
