Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior health services manager to lead a portfolio of health contracts, driving performance, quality, compliance and financial targets. You will build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners and partners, and ensure robust governance and reporting across delivery teams.

The role requires a degree in a health-related field, 3+ years in health/public health, and proven leadership with experience of managing complex programmes and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in health promotion, public health, health & social policy, social sciences, or community development.
• Minimum 3 years in health or social care related post.
• Demonstrated management, leadership and mentoring within a similar role.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders and building relationships.
• Evidence of delivering programmes in line with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and deliver performance, quality, compliance and financial targets across a portfolio of health contracts.
• Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Embed quality processes, policies, and procedures and ensure audit readiness.
• Recruit, develop and support teams to meet required competencies and maintain a culture of learning.
• Provide clinical governance oversight and support continuous service improvement.
