Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Maintenance Assistant to upkeep grounds, buildings, and equipment while ensuring resident safety and compliance with regulations. The role includes assisting the Maintenance Manager and potential driving duties for campus transportation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to operate a van/bus up to 15 passengers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a large van or bus (up to 15 passengers) safely and efficiently.
• Meets all state requirements for transporting residents, including proper licensing and certificates.
• For Kentucky applicants: Must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation service

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, building and equipment for the health campus.
• Make daily rounds to proactively identify and address maintenance, equipment and safety concerns that could impact the health, welfare, safety and satisfaction of our residents, families and employees.
• Perform repairs as needed and/or appropriate on equipment, building and grounds.
• Assist with the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal and state regulations.
• Assist with driving the health campus bus for required maintenance appointments or resident trips as directed by the Maintenance Manager
