Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Muncie, IN is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to maintain the grounds, buildings and equipment of Morrison Woods Health Campus, ensuring safety, welfare, and satisfaction for residents and staff.

You will assist with the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in line with federal and state regulations and may drive the health campus bus for required trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a large van or bus (up to 15 passengers) safely and efficiently.
• Meets all state requirements for transporting residents, including proper licensing and certifications.
• For Kentucky applicants: Must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, building and equipment for the health campus.
• Make daily rounds to proactively identify and address maintenance, equipment and safety concerns that could impact residents, families and employees.
• Perform repairs as needed and/or appropriate on equipment, building and grounds.
• Assist with the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Assist with driving the health campus bus for required maintenance appointments or resident trips as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
