Job summary

Marsh McLennan is seeking an Associate Consultant on the Employee Health & Benefits team to partner with MMA clients, delivering expert coverage knowledge and service. You will work with sales, consultants and carriers to support renewals, implementations and client questions.

The role emphasizes benefits expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to Health & Welfare regulations, with opportunity for licensure progress.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with employee benefits and knowledge of medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, rate structures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination, development and execution of project plans and client presentations.
• Support RFP, renewal and implementation processes for client projects.
• Pull and analyze benchmark survey data for client plans and summarize findings.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Identify negotiable elements of underwriting calculations for all lines of coverage.
• Manage post-implementation process for all lines of insurance coverage.
• Coordinate renewal processes, census data, Schedule A requests and ERISA Wrap documents.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, phone or other channels.
