Agemark Senior Living's The Bellflower at Whispering Ridge in Omaha, NE is seeking a Health & Wellness Director to lead the wellness team and ensure residents receive the highest quality care. You will oversee assessments, care planning and clinical interventions with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, manage medication processes, and build strong relationships with physicians, families, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in senior living or related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Wellness Team with coaching and clinical guidance.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing wellness needs.
• Ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining state regulations and company standards.
• Build relationships with residents, physicians, pharmacies, families, and healthcare partners.
• Monitor resident health, identify changes, and implement clinical interventions.
• Oversee medication management and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in resident admissions and assessments for appropriate placement.
• Respond to emergencies and provide hands-on clinical support.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor the Wellness Team by providing coaching, support, and clinical guidance.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing wellness needs.
• Ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company standards.
• Build strong relationships with residents, physicians, pharmacies, families, and healthcare partners.
• Monitor resident health, identify changes in condition, and implement appropriate clinical interventions.
• Oversee medication management and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in resident admissions and assessments to ensure appropriate placement and care.
• Respond to resident emergencies and provide hands‑on clinical support when needed.
• Promote a positive, team‑focused culture built on accountability, compassion, and respect.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled, including some evenings and weekends.

What We're Looking For

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, long‑term care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• A compassionate, resident‑centered approach to care.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation and healthcare software.
