Job summary

Agemark Senior Living's The Bellflower at Whispering Ridge in Omaha, NE is seeking a Health & Wellness Director to lead the wellness team, oversee resident assessments and care planning, and ensure the highest quality care.

As a nurse leader, you'll mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, manage medications, participate in admissions, and respond to emergencies, with a schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in senior living or related healthcare.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, resident-centered care approach.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Wellness Team with coaching and clinical guidance.
• Oversee resident assessments and care planning.
• Ensure compliant, high-quality resident care.
• Build relationships with residents, physicians, families, and partners.
• Monitor health changes and implement clinical interventions.
• Oversee medication management and clinical documentation.
• Participate in admissions and assessments for placement.
• Respond to emergencies with hands-on clinical support.
• Promote a positive, team-focused culture built on accountability, compassion, and respect.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, including some evenings and weekends.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor the Wellness Team by providing coaching, support, and clinical guidance.

• Build strong relationships with residents, physicians, pharmacies, families, and healthcare partners.

• Oversee medication management and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in resident admissions and assessments to ensure appropriate placement and care.
• Respond to resident emergencies and provide hands‑on clinical support when needed.
• Promote a positive, team‑focused culture built on accountability, compassion, and respect.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled, including some evenings and weekends.

What We're Looking For

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, long‑term care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• A compassionate, resident‑centered approach to care.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation and healthcare software.
