Job summary

The Bellflower at Whispering Ridge is an Agemark Senior Living community in Omaha, NE seeking a Health & Wellness Director to lead our wellness team and ensure residents receive the highest quality care.

As Health & Wellness Director, you will mentor staff, oversee assessments, care planning, medication management, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with physicians, pharmacies, families, and healthcare partners. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in senior living or memory care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with medication management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach; proficient with electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Wellness Team with coaching, support, and clinical guidance.
• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing wellness needs.
• Ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance and company standards.
• Build relationships with residents, physicians, pharmacies, families, and healthcare partners.
• Monitor resident health, identify changes, and implement clinical interventions.
• Oversee medication management and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in resident admissions and assessments for appropriate placement.
• Respond to resident emergencies with hands-on clinical support when needed.
• Promote a positive, team-focused culture built on accountability and respect.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled (evenings/weekends).

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
