Job summary

Alfa Laval in Tulsa/Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a Header Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, set up and operate mig and flux core welders, and weld headers using oxyacetylene and sub arc torches while ensuring fusion of base and filler metals.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of manufacturing welding experience, blueprint literacy, and English proficiency. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional welding experience in manufacturing.
• 1 year experience using mig and flux core welding and oxyacetylene/sub arc torches preferred.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) when working on stainless steel.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and welding instructions to understand procedures and requirements.
• Operates a mig welding machine to weld headers.
• Uses oxyacetylene torches to preheat and cut attachments.
• Performs layout and fit-up of headers.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety policies.
• Assists with training and supports team as needed.
